Large Fender front decals available for Stringmaster, etc.

About a month ago I got an old D8 Custom. It’s large front ‘Fender’ decal had come off and I looked online for a replacement. None were available or even made except for the smaller ones.

I contacted one of the decal suppliers who actually offered to make them. So, I measured an original decal on a Stringmaster I have and sent that along with pics to the company. After a couple of trial-and-error attempts that involved getting the color and outlining right it was done! They look good! I ordered 3 right away at $12 each + shipping. To me, it was well worth it. They arrived less than a week later.

Good to know. Thanks for sharing. Custom and Dual Pro owners should note that there was no decal on the early models (through 1951 I think). For those guitars, no decal would be authentic if you want to maintain originality.
