[Aside: I get newsletters from Stringjoy regularly. This week was about the history of Gretsch guitars through Kramer, Fred, the Baldwin yrs. etc. but not one mention of Sho~Bud guitars in the mix.

Scott and crew: You guys must know by now that several steel guitar players are using your strings. How about a little mention of the instrument in your blogs and newsletters?]

I have been using their strings on the Tele for a couple years and really like them. I have had a stash of E9 but plan to order a set when I run out!

What, specifically, “unimpressed” you?

I've been using them and I like them. It would be nice if they had a way of ordering a 10 string set of custom gauges. Now you need to order a 9 string set and then singles. They don't allow substitutions in the pedal steel sets.

They do seem like great strings. They are pricey compared to free strings when you are touring or the sets I used to buy from Frenchies.

I'll stick with Stringjoy strings for a bit longer then throw a set of SIT's on and see if its a big enough difference.

Anyway they are worth checking out.
