Paradise Found (Hana) - recordings?
I've searched, but can't find any recordings of this song - Lost Paradise (Hana). Anyone know who made it popular? Or can recommend a steel guitar version? I suppose an early version.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Joey,
I love Margie's version:

I was there for this recording. Margie passed away not long ago.

Here's the ones I like!
One I go to first off, is Charles Kaipo Miller's version. I think they were conjecturing it was written by his father?

This one has vocals. Sonny Kamahele, and not sure who plays steel...maybe Barney? From 1961.
Next up, a great steel version from a great duet album...Barney Isaacs and Eddie Pang on Evening In The Islands by the Maile Serenaders. I don't know if these are on yt but they are likely on some streaming platforms:

Lastly buckle in for some exotica with Felix Slatkin:

This one was recorded by Jules Ah See on steel. Found it on youtube at least:

The song was taught to me (and just lays out perfectly) in B11.

I hear the rolling surf calling
Calling and calling to me
