I bought a Bowman SD-10 push/pull 3x5 about a year ago and am really enjoying it. Took a bit to get it dialed in (got it from a pawn shop) but it plays smooth, great tone and easy pedal/lever action (I play in socks).

Sam Lewis has a real nice all pull Bowman listed in the For Sale section. If I played C6th I buy it in a heartbeat. Bobby knew how to build, set up and repair as well as anyone. Wish I could have met him, seemed like a very nice person (as are most all the folks on this Forum).

I saw Mr. Lewis' Bowman, and it sure looks like a real beauty. Do you happen know the rough timeframe when Bobby Bowman was making these guitars?

I think this one is from the early 2000's. Search his postings on the Forum, there is quite a bit of info. There are also YouTube videos of his playing and an interview or two. Quite a builder and player!

Bobby was my closest friend. When he passed on, I lost all interest in working on steel guitars.

If I'm not mistaken that would be a pull/release changer. Very stable when dialed in.

It is a push-pull.
