Tim Rowley, Central Michigan: RIP

Post by Cody Stewart »

This is to honor the life of a very prominent picker here in Michigan for many years. Was proud to call him a friend. RIP Tim Rowley!
Bolt On’s: Red Belly, Brown Belly, 73 Sho~Bud Pro~II, Fender’s/Peavey’s. If it doesn't sound like 1968, then I probably won’t like it.

Always enjoyed Tims set on the jam at Trufant
He was very articulate and Jerry Hendrix and I always enjoyed evisiting with him.
He was always a very busy guy and played a lot of venues here in Michigan.
Rest high on that mountain, you have earned it.
Tim.will be missed by all.
Thoughts and prayers to Diane and family
….. old Bud

Somehow I never had the opportunity to meet Tim, although i've known musicians from that area, and the northern michigan and Traverse City areas as well. I've gone to the jam at Trufant, but that was, wow several years ago. I'm located south of Ludington in the Hart-Shelby area. Sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences.
