Jim Sliff

Jim was very helpful when i was just getting going with my first fender 400. he was very particular about how he felt a 400 should be approached regarding the cleaning and maintenance. he had a website dedicated to the 400 and it had a ton of great info. by going back through the forum you can read about when he first started out asking the same questions all new 400 owners asked. he was kind enough to catalog what he learned along the way and he freely shared his experiences. he also got into some epic conversations on the forum that have to be read to be believed. he was like a dog with a bone sometimes when he was arguing his point. i've got nothing but respect for the guy and i would have loved to hear him play his sneakycaster if i could've.
rest in peace Jim.
