I use a 22 Guage plain nickel SIT 6th string and I can't seem to eliminate buzzing when using the bar. Anyone suggest a different Guage or wound string to help eliminate buzz on 6th string? I have already cleaned and oiled the grooved nut roller.

Take your thumbnail and push the string off the center of the finger and see if it still buzzes. |

I have tried moving the the string off center as suggested but really didn't notice a difference. |

Put a drop of oil on the string on top of the changer finger. _________________ Bob |

Thanks Bob. Are you referring the top of the "bridge" part of the changer where the string wraps around? |

Most likely the Buzz is the wiggle of the roller; makes a buzz sound. I always drop a bead of 3&1 oil, right on top of the string/roller and it runs down each side of Roller and Quiets the BUUUUZZZZZZ. It doesn't stop the wiggle; but stops the noise the wiggle makes.
