Our friend Gene McGowan just passed away this morning. He was a long time steel guitar player. He just made his 90th birthday a few days ago. He will definitely be missed at our Portland Jams.

Oh so sorry to hear of Genes passing. He was a very nice man. That is Ken right behind Gene, and his wife and daughter in the upper right corner of that pic.
RIP Gene.

Gene was a kind, gentleman. He had a great touch and tone and regularly attended the Muller Jams on Mondays for years. He will be missed.
