Sandy Wyatt

Post by Ashton Evans »

As some of you may know, We lost Sandy Wyatt last week
Sandy owned the Farmers Opry in Chumuckla, Florida. Mr sandy brought in a lot of major artist to the area like, Gene Watson, Connie Smith, John Conlee, and so many more. Mr Sandy was one heck of a Steel player. And he also was such a good man to everyone, even including the people in his community. He was such a great pal to me always encouraging me, and I’m sure going to miss him. Doug Jernigan played an amazing tribute to him at his funeral. It was personally one of the biggest funerals I had ever seen in my life. It appeared to be around 2000 plus. We will miss you Mr Sandy.

I only knew Sandy for a couple of years, but during that time I discovered he was a great man.

I am so sorry I could not attend the funeral as we were out of town.

RIP Sandy
