Sonny Garrish Video

Post by Kenny Davis »

Does anyone have a link for the Sonny Garrish interview that was on YouTube? Can't remember, but I think it had to do with either Musician's HOF, or some special occasion honoring Nashville session players.

You don't get a chance to see or hear Sonny speak often, and I was happy to see he was such a quiet, humble guy! A lot of great questions and several music clips.

You're welcome Kenny. I'm glad I saw your post. It made me want to look for this. Sonny has been one of my favorite players from the first time I heard him play.

When I would listen to a Gene Watson record and was impressed by the steel player, I would look on the album notes, and sure enough, it was Sonny Garrish. :D

I especially like his work on Vern Gosdin's 'Chiseled in Stone.'
