Nice; a bit more reserved that Ben Keith's playing on the original (Anne Murray) version. :)

Yeah, on second listen the player seems to be holding back or maybe just inexperienced? But what's cool is just the use of the pedal steel by this fairly big indie artist out of Seattle.

Jon Rauhouse usually plays with Nico, I'd be surprised if it wasn't him. He's plenty experienced and one of my favorite steel players.

Don't get me wrong, it's fine playing, I guess I'm just expecting more classic in your face country licks but of course this act is not country!

I can't believe that is Jon. Sounds very limited and amateur for him. Maybe a bad day? Not much steel on the recording to get much out of it.
