Manually transcribing standard notation to tabs

I want to be able to transcribe standard music notation into lap steel tabs manually that is not using software programs etc.

I need a chart that compares standard notes and lap steel tabs. Is that correct?

I have been unable to find such a chart for lap steel. Plenty for guitar and piano, but not lap steel.

Is there anyone who can help an assist a silly old (76yrs) ex navy man with constructive help and / or advice.
