3 years anniversary of my Hawaiian Steel Guitar YT channel

Post by Sebastian Müller »

Aloha friends,

exactly 3 years ago I posted my first steel guitar video on Facebook and Youtube, Honolulu Bound.

I was overwhelmed by the positive response, it was shared and liked many, many times and encouraged me to do these videos on a constant base.

Now, 3 years later I have 21 performance videos on my YT channel and created Tabs and Backingtracks for all of them, and I set up a website that is dedicated to early hawaiian steel guitar.

So, thank you so much for supporting me on this journey, your likes, shares and sweet comments make me happy.
Big thank you also to the players who support my channel by purchasing Tabs and Playbacks, very happy to hear you find them useful.

To celebrate these 3 years of steel guitar videos I discount all tabs and playbacks by 30% for 3 days. (Ending on May 1st)
You can find them here:

Mahalo 😊🤙🌴

Wishing you all the success for the future in creating these videos. Your body of work in this field is the gold standard for me. I always get excited when I see you have posted a new video. I would also like to comment on how important I feel your videos are in keeping this music alive for future generations. Standing on the shoulders of giants is certainly true with talent of the old masters just limited to a few old crackly recordings and odd flickering film. The fact that we can now see these pieces beautifully recorded and played with modern technical production. You are one of the very few players I can think off who can do this. I think I can speak for most of the steel guitar players here in thanking you for your time effort and artistry in producing these videos.

I can't wait for the 5 year anniversary when everything is 50% off! :P

Just kidding. I was just planning on getting some more tab from you, so that works out really well for me. Buy three, get one free. (Almost.)

Thanks for taking the time to not only translate these old gems, but also for taking the time to tab them out and produce your inspirational videos so others of us can ride your coattails.

Ive been meaning to get some tabs from you, I got a Tricone in A and I'm comfortable enough to try some more advanced stuff, so thanks for the deal, now I have work to do.

Beautiful playing Sebastian!

What brand of finger picks are you using? I've just started on lap steel, and I don't like using my steel dobro picks.
