Who make Sho~Bud Perm changer replacements?
Looking to find someone to duplicate me a changer for my mid 60's Perm. Any idea who does this?

Be careful bro; if you replace the changer fingers with anything other than the exact metal they were made out of; you will change the sound. I'm sure, Sho~Bud used 6061 Aluminum in '60's-up-to-1974. So Again> THAT is the main ingredient in the sound of the Classic Sho~Bud Permanent pedal steel.

Perm fingers
That looks like Indian rosewood to me. The inlays are unique too. It’s gonna be a great steel.

Liam, Harry Jackson made new fingers for mine from the same 60-61 aluminum that the original ones were. The guitar was also refinished. The sound change 0%, it sounds exactly as it did before it was restored. Send the guitar to Harry, he built in the first place. And ignore the myths of it will change the sound. As long as the same materials are used it won't.

I saw pictures of what I assume might be this same steel from a few years ago--had kinda strange fingertip changers on it and looked like it had gotten wet. This one is looking great now! I agree with Johnny--get it to Harry to finish up as it should be finished!
I have an early sixties Madison rosewood permanent that looks a lot like that one--the inlays on yours are different and very nice! Mine sounds like a million bucks.

Well I got the guitar last week and I've been working on it along with a Fingertip I got..
I've decided to make my own undercarriage based off of the Fingertip style undercarriage. Just waiting on some parts to come in. Meanwhile here is the guitar! I think this one is a 1964 Permanent. I'll be needing 6 pedals if anyone has some! I have two already. Harry Jackson is making me a changer for the C6 neck as I have one for E9.
