A colourful local legend, Tex Emery, an absolute and respected fixture of Pedal Steel in these parts, for more than 60 years.
He hasn't asked for me to pass this on, in fact I have not talked to him in decades, but I know these ads are his, and I know people would be interested.

So I post these with great respect

Love Tex. One of the funniest guys I ever met.

I had the opportunity to hang out with Tex and watch him play several times in Halifax in the late 90’s/early 2000’s. What a great player and person. He even gave me one of his original business cards from way back. It is proudly displayed in my music room.

Is that the one from the 50’s with him playing a Bigsby?
