Well this is my last push pull resto for a while. I need a good long break. Check with Billy Knowles.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you

Layla is all finished finally. It was a long project but worth it in the end. She sounds amazing and is beautiful to look at. Thanks for all the interest

Congratulations, Mike! You certainly did an outstanding job on this one! Beautiful work, indeed! I'll bet it sounds terrific, so hopefully you can post a video of it being played at some point.
Best regards,
Lynn Stafford

Nice, nice, nice!

Gotta love that red flocking. My "Li'l Sunny" Gee-Ess has it, too. Does anyone know how many came out of Burlington that way, or if there was a specific time period when they flocked 'em in red?

Red Flocking

As far as I know, the Emmons factory primarily used red flocking between 1964 and 1965. I'm guessing they then started using black for the most part ever since. However, I once had a '67 D-10 bolt-on with factory brown flocking. I restored it several years ago and sold it to a customer in Texas.

I know of at least one other similar guitar that Bobby Boggs had that was originally his fathers.

This Scaggs creation is mine!

I am so proud to own this guitar. It is amazing in so many ways. The mechanics are smooth as silk. The Kotibe wood is gorgeous. Craftsmanship is beyond expectations.

I have been an Emmons push-pull player for a very long time. This push-pull has the Emmons tone you would expect and I love playing it.

Thanks,Mike.

Hi Mike. Bud Harger is a friend of mine and the next time I get to Temple Texas I am going out and take a look at this guitar. Maybe Bud will let me play it a little. Another great job.
