I like the sliding pickup idea. Not sure why more builders don't do something like that. Or add more pickups. Regular electric guitars have had multiple pickups since the 1940s. I've always wondered why almost all PSGs only have one.

Re: All pull Sho Bud Maverick
Johnie, what is it about this guitar that makes it a Maverick?... This is beautiful, but sure doesn’t look anything like the Maple Maverick I had in the early 70’s.Johnie King wrote:I played this beautiful Maverick at At Harry Jackson’s Today very nice playability an sound!!

Do you have any pictures of the undercarriage?

Dale this steel belongs to Harry Jackson Mr. Sho Bud himself I would say the Body an end plates our the only thing original.
This Maverick has modern 3 over two changer
All new undercarriage
Sliding pickup
New style Jackson style Key head
New extruded pedal board an pedals.
This Maverick is a special steel it’s certainly not for sale.
This Maverick is played a little everyday by Harry in his shop.
For a s10 Sho Bud Maverick I could not believe how well she plays the knee lever an pedal placement is spot on no knee lever flags needed on this S10.
