Verrrry Nice guitars Erv,if you run out of room for them at your house, your more than welcome to send a couple over to me. I will take good care of them for you.
..not likely, Nick...that one's currently on sale from a music shop in Canandaigua, NY. Erv's is apparently in his house, and isn't for sale...and I think Erv is programmed to buy only, not sell ...<font size="1" color="#8e236b"><p align="center">[This message was edited by Pat Burns on 01 March 2006 at 01:40 PM.]</p></FONT>
When you suffer from GAS, the word "sell" in not in your vocabulary.
After I saw a posting on the Forum about Ron reissuing new p/p's, I got ahold of him and made arrangements for two D-10s. And I'm sure glad I did as I doubt if there will be any more. The one for sale on ebay is the same as my wine burst but it is not my guitar. I might consider selling some of my guitars in a few years but not right now.
At present, I have in my stable 10 Emmons push/pulls.

PS: I forgot to mention that the birth dates of my p/p's range from a 1966 D-10, bolt on, up to the two new p/p's you see pictured.<font size="1" color="#8e236b"><p align="center">[This message was edited by Erv Niehaus on 01 March 2006 at 02:47 PM.]</p></FONT>
Hey, I've owned way over 10, but not all at one time!! You are the tops! Currently I have three wraparounds and a woodneck, all 64's and 65's. But I don't store them in the stable... I keep them in the house. The horse lives in the stable.
Herb,
About the only model I don't have is a wraparound, someday maybe. I have everything from an S-12 a D-12 (thanks to Pat), an SD-10 and several D-10s. Some are mica with metal necks, both wide and narrow pedals. Some are lacquer with metal necks and two lacquers with wood necks. In addition to the p/p Emmons, I also have two LeGrande II's. About 4 or 5 Sho~Buds, two Williams, a Rains and a D-10 Fulawka.
I am also into non-pedal steels with maybe a dozen or so. Several Fenders, some Gibsons, a couple Rickenbachers, some Regals and an original 8 string Dobro.
I think I need to get into therapy!
Erv
Kevin,
I don't have them all set up to see, that's for sure. I usually have one set up at a time that I'm playing and doing some fine tuning on. My present project is the Fulawka and I'm going to be getting some parts from Ed and add a couple more knee levers and a 9th foot pedal to it. I also have a 1966 bolt on p/p in transit that I will be doing some work on.
I forgot to mention in my other posting that, in the area of non-pedal, I also have an original Shot Jackson/Jerry Byrd long scale Frypan and a recently acquired Jerry Byrd model D-8, short scale Excel.
And the beat goes on and on and on and on!
My wife has pretty much resigned herself to the fact that I'm completely out of control.
However, of late, I've shown what a few guitars have gone for on e-bay. There was a D-8 Stringmaster a while ago that went for around $1,600 and I have a twin to it if not ever a little bit nicer. I also have a quad Stringmaster that I bought for $1,400 and I believe the last one on ebay went for over $4,200. I also have some other regular guitars and basses also. I have a Fender Precision bass that I bought new in 1955. I still have the original strings for it and the tag that hung from the headstock.
