Mickey this was indeed sad news. Surprisingly enough I was just watching a youtube video of you and Jim playing a gospel tune together this morning. You never know when tomorrow is too late. My condolences to Sheldon and the rest of Jim's Family.
He will be missed.

Jim was a great friend, who retaught me the steel guitar. Roxanne and I know in our hearts that Jim is Heaven.

When he lived in Bremerton we would get together often and play steel guitar. I took his place in Whatta-band when he left to play with Ty Herndon. |

So sorry to hear this. Jim was one of the first members of this forum. He sent me his copedent for The Pedal Steel Pages back in 1996. We never met in real life, but he was always a perfect netizen. Sad to hear he's gone. Respect.

What a shock! Jim and I worked on Boen guitars together around 1962. He was a great player and we had some jams in my living room, just the two of us. I am shocked and sorry to see that he has passed.
