Hi Bob- For my birthday this year, my wife and I are coming out to the Denver Steel Show! I have always wanted to come out and see this one. I cannot wait to see and hear my friends Chuck Lettes and Jim Cohen. Two of the best. I have never had the opportunity to hear Mr. Manness, but have heard great things about him. See you in June.

Bob, I saw a video of one of the shows a few years back and there was a gal playing drums that was a friend of mine from a long time ago. I can't think of her last name right now, but her first name is Chris. I always loved her drumming and she's also a really nice person. Do you know who I am talking about and is she going to be on the show this year? The last time I saw her she was living in Nashville, but that was a long time ago. Sorry to take your thread in a different direction, but I've been curious as to how she is doing and I thought this would be a good opportunity to possible find out. |

Thank you so much for the pix, Dan. Keep 'em coming!
I'm extremely disappointed that health issues prevented me from making the beautiful 200-mile trip across the passes and through the parks to beautiful downtown Thornton for this year's show.
Great list of players and seminars this year. Congratulations, Mr. Case and everyone involved with the Denver Steel Show. I've attended in the past and know what a wonderful job you do. |

Across the great divide, just grab your hat, and take that ride.
Jack, sorry you couldn't get here. With respect to Robbie Robertson, it's more than a Sunday stroll in the park. Hope you can attend next year.

Glen Taylor ("that little Moyo volume pedal") with his band, Bonnie and the Clydes.
Glen is playing the Moyo pedal steel guitar that he built. Inspired pedal steel design. Likewise the music of this tight band. They play around. Go see 'em sometime.

Bob Case
Thanks so much to Bob and Lisa Case for putting this event together.
I didn't play the steel guitar, but I got to play "roadie." Err, make that junior, apprentice, under-assistant roadie. Thanks, Bob!
There were no Session 500s used in the production of this event. |
