Gotta hand it to the Peavy people my 112 is my go to amp I like the sound it produces nice and clean and crisp.

I have a Peavey 1000 and Nashville 112. The 112 is my favorite. The mud stand would make all by gear look great which would distract from how I look at 78 years young. Thanks

Like many of the guys my favorite amp is my Nashville 400. I’ve done the “Fox Mods” to it along with a Telonics 15” speaker and it is my “go to” amp. Whether I’m playing steel or lead guitar it’s my favorite. It’s got the power for most places, it’s always dependable and it’s sound is always predictable and good. The speaker made it a totally new amp and I won’t leave home without it. The only thing it really needs is a good stand.

Peavey NV112, because it is a pretty OK middle-of-the-road amp soundwise and powerwise, and it is easy to bypass unnecessary sections.

I played a Fender Vibrosonic Reverb for years that I loved but it fell into disrepair and I was never able to restore it.

been using the Fender Steel King since last year and I've never been so happy with a solid state amp. this thing is just great.

so the answer is: Fender!

My favourite is a Vox AD50VT because I don't know any better.

It has a nice clean channel and I can switch my pedal steel with my dobro and hit a preset button and off I go.

I play a stereo steel preamp with Nashville 1000 as the power amp. Recently bought Katana 100. Nice and light and tone is pretty good!

Peavey Bandit - I can use it for both steel and regular guitar and it sounds great with both, and it's dirt cheap!

I use a Peavey LTD with a Black Widow 15 Speaker. Been using it for a long time. First amp was a Standel Imperial and then a Fender Twin with a JBL 15 inch speaker.
Since tomorrow is my 77th birthday I need to win one of these stands. Thanks for the post.

My favorite amp is my early 70's peavey session 400 with original JBL, just cannot beat the tone, I started out with an old Evans Compactra 100, great amp, I also have a Peavey N-112, good amp, I am sold on my Session 400, it is heavy but going to split up the cab. Never tried any high dollar amps, the session 400 is a work horse and a poor musician's amp. Jim Goins.

Old Nash 400 with chrome corners, but once I reached the old geaser stage of life I put a neo speaker in it just to move it around. Good reverb and no need for effects. Now if I could just figure out how to lighten the load of my D 10 Sho Bud and Zum I would rearing to go. Maybe I could use styrofoam cabinets on them, don't know how that would effect the sound tho.

I have a Peavey LTD that does it all. Its a very clean sounding amp and I love the bass response when I'm playing the C6 neck.

Replica of a Fender Tweed Twin Hi power, circuit 5f8a with a couple of personal tweaks. It has plenty of power, good bottom, sweet highs.

ShoBud with a D130 15 inch speaker. Great Reverb can be dialed in sweet and pure almost tube like or colder with a more modern feel. The ShoBud amp has tons of character just what you need in a steel amp (a lot of punch back in the kitchen) for various situations, live or on record.

Out of 7 Peavey amps I own, one N400, with a neo speaker with newest chips is my favorite. It sounds great, in my ears.
