Hi all, my first upload ever of a recent recording session in my studio. Not the best video/audio quality but I hope you'll like it anyway

Niice! Clean pickin'! :)

Are you playing a Zum Stage One? It sounds great. A good advertisement for Stage One! :)

Thanks, Charlie McDonald and Jim Cohen!

And yes, Jim. It's a pretty beat up 18 years old or so ZumSteel Stage One that has travelled halfway around the world with me but it is still working fine :)

That sounded great! Were you playing through a Cube amp?

Thanks guys for your kind comments!

Hey, Tommy, cheers and LOL! I have just replied to a FB PM by Willy and Jennifer, where he mentioned you, as well. Mostly all good, too! :D

Hi, Lee! Thanks and I indeed played through a Cube 80-XL, used the "recording out" straight into a Steinberg UR824 converter to Cubase. No eq, delay, compression, etc. Only a little plate reverb plugin. So, what you're hearing is actually coming from my ADAM studio speakers.

Please share the settings you use on the Cube.

Thanks! The settings on my Cube were: JC Clean channel, bright switch off, bass: at 2 o´clock, middle at almost 9 o´clock, treble at almost 12 o´clock and presence at 11 o´clock. Efx, delay and reverb: off.

I had tried to put the sound from Cubase underneath the video (never done that) in a freeware editing app but didn't succeed in doing that. It also appeared to mess with the audio/video sync. I will give it another try when I have some more time to experiment with that because the sound the way it is from the Phone recording lacks in the upper frequencies.

For about 25 years I've played with a Day setup on my old Framus but switched almost two decades ago to an Emmons setup because I bought this ZumSteel Stage One which came with that configuration.

Kind regards, André.
