lGreat song choice, execution and tone on that Studio Pro, Scott. If you feel like sharing any tips on how you shot and edited that video, I'm curious. Not looking for trade secrets, though! Cameras used, software, type of lighting, that kind of stuff. Thanks... John McClung

Thank you, guys. :-)
I really enjoy recording.

John, I used a combo of iOS and GoPro cameras. Oddly enough I got better resolution from the iOS. I also used a couple of LED spots for lighting, aiming them right on the guitar. To wrap it all together I used iMovie 11. I really like the Apple stuff. Just wished it weren't so expensive! LOL

Great video Scott... It was this guitar right here, (which Junior Knight had before Scott) This guitar played and sounded so good, I needed to have an MSA of my own... I think Scott was getting tired of trying to peel me off of it...

Thanks, Dale. I'm really glad you got to play it. I was honored that you did. You're a good judge of this instrument and it just re affirms what I think about them. BTW your Legend XL sounds as good or better than the Studio Pro!!

Tagged on the video. My Weakness is Too Strong from the Big E and also sung by Ray Pennington on one of the Swingin' compilations.

Thanks Gentlemen :-)
Yeah, that's one of my all time favorites to play. I played it live every weekend when I was gigging. Had a hard time pushing it on the lead singer. He didn't like anyone stealing his thunder. LOL People always danced to it.:-) Brought out the Emmons fans!

Great playing, awesome looking guitar. I don’t know if it’s the coolest feature on your instrument, but those L-frets look like The Bomb to me.

Thanks Paul. :) I was running direct into Garage Band via an Alesis interface. I came out of a stereo effect created by the late Gary Hogue in a Peavey Profex II. I’ll have to look and see what the specifics were on that particular patch. Reverb, delay and 3b EQ are all in there. If you want specifics, I’ll have to dial it up and see. Be glad to if you want to know. :)
