I've kicked myself a thousand times for letting that guitar get away from me ... glad you've got, though Dale, and having a great time with it.Carl Kilmer wrote:... I love your Mullen, wish I could make mine sound so good.

Thank John and Jim... And you too Carl... I went a touch crazy and actually had 3 different reverbs on it... I was experimenting... I didn’t use any compression and only a transparent limiter... I may try to use some delay at some point, but right now its just reverb... My education is FAR from over my friend... thanks for your kind words.Carl Kilmer wrote:Dale, I love that remixed sound. It's the sound I love.(':D')
Are you only using reverb or is something else used too.
I love your Mullen, wish I could make mine sound so good.

Dale, nice job on this one ! We are getting ready to track this one as well for my wifes next budget CD. I think I'll steal a few of your licks !
These days I spend less time listening to the "knobs" and more time listening to the playing , I think both of the mixes are just fine ! That Mullen sounds great.
Do remember that Soundcloud , if not all of the streaming sites , cuts off at 16K at the top and somewhere near 80 HZ at the bottom. So much for pure audio fidelity !

Tony, Thank-you, and I’m honored you’d even think to use one of my licks... But if you find anything of value there, well, Have at it... I’m perceiving just a touch of distortion in a couple of places, not much, but enough to catch my ear, though my ears could be bad... I sent the stems to a friend of mine, who put some of his magic on it and he said he didn’t hear it in the stems, so maybe I put a little too much drive on the Console Shaper plugin I was using... I didn’t hear it in his mix...Tony Prior wrote:Dale, nice job on this one ! We are getting ready to track this one as well for my wifes next budget CD. I think I'll steal a few of your licks !![]()
