Shooter Jennings with Waymore's Outlaws, featuring Fred Newell on pedal steel will be playing Chicago's City Winery on Monday March 21.

Fred Newell turned in a giant performance on the steel Monday night at the Shooter Jennings show. Waymore's Outlaws does classic Waylon stuff, so Fred got to show off his Mooney licks, and course Shooter Jennings has his own new stuff. Fred Newell has a tricked out GFI Areo 4 x 5 keyless. He's an outstanding professional musician who also doubles on lead guitar. I don't know if there were other forum members present, but Thanks to our all star Tablature poster Frank Freniere, I got to see lots of outlaw country music. They even still use Waylon's old guitar. Yee hah. Thanks to Frank for making sure we knew this one was coming.
