I just got Tom's pedal and it out performs the graphic EQ pedal I was using. It is worth the price.

I prefer to mic my regular dobro. But in a real loud situation, I had decent results running a cat-can thru a Match-Bro. And using my regular dobro bar and picks.

Yep. Love the sound of a B3. Almost as much as PSG and dobro. Mandolin would come in 4th. I'll have to check between the cushions in the couch to see if I can come up with enough to buy a B3 and a Leslie 122.

I picked up a new Gretsch Amplisonic boxcar reso with the Fishman Nashville picked up factory installed for $400. With an Aura pedal it sounds better than my RQ JOnes and its same pick up. Put it thru the PA and not thru your steel amp.

I have a mandolin, dobro, and steel. My wife hates the steel. I love them all..

I'm curious about the Cat Can guitar..

With the Cat-Can, you get a sustain that is somewhere between a lap steel and the plastic bar that comes with the original MatchBro. This is the old 6-string cat-can that Marrs made. Has no on-board electronics. Jim Easton turned me on to it.

Still love a real dobro and mic, however.

My Bradshaw resonator arrived to day and I've been busy experimenting. It gives a very authentic dobro sound when I play closer to my pickup than usual and increase the vibrato. Here are my current settings. I can't wait to let the blue grass band here how it sounds. I think they will like it.

I have a 60's Hound Dog dobro that I take out and if someone threw a DPA clamp on mic at me http://www.dpamicrophones.com/microphon ... for-guitar I'd welcome it, but I'll have to settle for something else right now.
