I was really looking forward to coming to this one, but I will be in Oklahoma this weekend. I did this show for quite a few years, and it was always one of my very favorites. I really miss being there, but seems like the schedules just haven't lined up recently. Anyway, with that Hicks guy there, I know everybody will have a big ole time. (Russ, you know you're one of my all time favorites).

Hope to catch you next time.

Took the New Old Toy for my first show with it.

It is a great playing Derby D-10 S/n # 27. It is a keeper.

Many thanks to Staff Band & Wendel & Teresa for the song they sang.
The band did a great job for me and everyone else that played.
Thanks again Jerry & Joe for having me again.

Thank you Larry! The Derby sounded great--never heard you play so well, great job. Many thanks for allowing me the chance to share the stage with you. All the steel players really did a super job and I appreciate the ones who allowed me to sing with them. Russ and Roger Hicks really made sure that we indeed had a "LARGE" time! Just a great time with much talent and over the top friends~~~~

Larry, when I heard YOU were coming, I decided to stay home. :?

I've been under the weather for a while. Or, up the creek. I wanted to catch you--Been a while, hasn't it?

And I wanted to make faces at Russ. And earlier, Ron Elliott. But it wasn't supposed to be, I guess. I think maybe I'll stop saying I'll be there, and not showing up. That way, if I DO show up, it'll be a happy surprise. But, for old time's sake---

Larry--HELLO.
