Nightlife by Steve Palousek - TAB?

Post by Ad Kersten »

I have bought Steve's CD "Let the games begin" and I think his playing is fabulous! Great technique, style, tone,....... I really love it.

I am now trying to play his version of Nightlife. I can work out the chords but I am having troubles with the single note solos. :(

Anyone gave it a try yet and would like to share any tabbing for this?

Can anyone tell me something about Steve's reverb an delay settings? I am playing a Zumsteel S12 with TrueTone 19 kOhm through a Peavey Tubefex + Classic 50/50 amp, but I just don't get this type of effect out of it. I guess he is using very professional gear but maybe I can get close.

Thanks Jerry.

Hi Mike,
Well, that is quite an offer! :D
If you can spend the time for doing this I will certainly enjoy looking at it and learning from it. And I will not be the only one I think. :P No rush but if whenever you have something to share, please post it in this thread and I will know. Many thanks in advance! 8)

Like Ray said, I think anyone would be willing to pay the shipping, so same goes here. I know how hard it is to tab stuff out. I took Steve Palousek's C6 course that is on video and tabbed it all out. Very time consuming, but it made it easier to learn from for me.

This is no way to cut Mike down. I have a lot of his stuff, and it's all top. Rick Kornacker has a course out for Night life and Sleepwalk. It is one of the best I've seen, if you'd like give him a shot. He's at Stepping Stone Music, and he is Jeff Newman's son-in-law. He is a swell person. Mike is great too. As I've said, I have a lot of Mike's stuff, he's as big as he is good. hahaha Ypur tops Mike.

Jim, Yes you are right in supporting Rick Kornacker's material. I've known Rick personally for many years, This one is not about the song in particular, it's the Palousek style of playing almost anything!!! Steve has a way in getting things out of a song that leave most of us in bewilderment.
