How is the best way to turn off a laptop computer.

options >> sleep ? /hibernate / shutdown ???.

Lately i have been having problem's getting mine to restart windows,,i had it set to shutdown when i close the lid..Im running it plugged in 100% full power all the time ,so no battery drain.

Any answer from anyone will be a great help .

I always turn mine off when I am not using it.

Both my laptop (with charging adapter) and my desktop are on 24 hours a day. No worries restarting windows unless it updates during the night. But my desktop (a Dell piece of crap) is the one that gives me problems on re-boot.
