Post by Wiz Feinberg »

June 30, 2015

Apple has just released new patched versions of several products and Mac OS to plug critical vulnerabilities being exploited in the wild. The patched software includes Quicktime, which is now at version 7.7.7, Safari 8.0.7, Safari 7.1.7, and Safari 6.2.7 for OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.5, OS X Mavericks v10.9.5, and OS X Yosemite v10.10.3.

There are more items that were updated on the 30th, including iPhones, as described on this security bulletin on CERT-US.gov

Please run updates on your Apple devices and computers. Windows users who have Quicktime and/or Safari installed should also check for updates, even if the have automatic updates enabled.
