I think that's his intention. There are several interviews with him on YouTube, and not only does he not mention his brother, but the interviewers seem to have the impression that he was the steel guitarist.
I think that Santo & Johnny, as a partnership, are inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame. If so, that's misleading. Santo should be the one in the HofF on his own. As a steel guitarist, Johnny isn't so bad, but he's not as good as his brother. I heard that Ann was their Aunt. She played no part in writing the tune for Sleep Walk, but I believe that it was she who wrote the words for the vocal version after the recording company decided that it was a good tune but they didn't think a steel guitar instrumental would sell to a wide audience.
