Software recommendation for key changes for MP3 files ?
I was wondering what you guys use to change the keys of MP3 files or wav files for that matter. Any recommendations ?
Thanks in advance.

A free favorite of mine is Audio Pitch & Shift.

You can also do this with the recording/editing software audacity, (free) for permanent changes.

I tried downloading it, and Avira Antivirus flagged it to be removed....

Scott,
I changed the link to the actual homepage of the software, it can be safely downloaded there.
Not sure what was going on at that other link; I checked the download at a popular virus scan site (virustotal) and it did indeed come up as suspicious.
Again, here is the "clean" link.

Awesome software, by the way. I love how you can change the tempo if you need to work through difficult parts of a song.

I tried doing that and it said the file I was importing was advanced file...it is an mp3 or as itunes calls it, ACC...says I need to conver it to a wav file....so I guess I need to install something to do just that...take and mp3 back to wav.
I will keep trying and again thanks for the info.
