Style does not revert everytime on verses

Post by Savell »

I have a simple structure

Bars for verses (1a)
1 2 3 4
5 6 7 8
Bars for chorus (9b)
9 10 11 12
13 14 15 16
Bars for ending (17b)
17 18

Repeats 3 times because the song has 3 verses.

The verse pattern is good for verses 1 and 3 but the style stays on the chorus pattern for verse 2. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?

You might want to say what style you are using in your file. NOT all BIAB styles have a change in the "b" part.

Any style.

I've changed them out over several.
Both real and not.

New songs only. That's why I think some setting has been changed.

Savell,

You likely have it set to "vary the style in middle choruses". Right click in song > song settings > uncheck it. Also, an easy way to get what you want and avoid all these issues is to go to edit > unfold. This will make the three repeats turn into one big song. This is almost a must if you're recording for vocals and doing turn arounds, etc.... Once you have it in the "big song" format, you can change anything you want, anywhere you want.

Hope this helps.
