Joe, you really nailed that and it's great to have people in audience that appreciate the steel guitar and a good band backing you up. That Ritt sounds awesome too. I wish the people in my town would appreciate good country music.

Great playing Joe. It is hard to get those high notes on pitch, but you nailed them.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it! I was pitchy at times. This band is so inspiring to play with I find myself experimenting a little more than I should, so my precision tends to fall off more than I prefer. And yes, the crowd is incredible. They REALLY appreciate good music. Below are some other links I posted this morning. I never get applause after solos the way I do at this place.

I am very much enjoying my Rittenberry and the Telonics Combo. This one happens to be a prototype.

Below is my best imitation of Paul Franklin. LOL!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwUiLI8 ... e=youtu.be

By the way, Tim Broussard is playing bass on this one, he was Mark Chestnutt's bass player. Britt Godwin and Bubba Moore, vocalists on the this and the other videos toured with Tracy Byrd for years. The acoustic guitar/saxophone player is Don Rollins who wrote the mega-hit, "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" for Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett.

There is a lot of great talent in this neck of the woods.

Thanks for the compliments, but imitating is really the easy part. Coming up with the licks to begin with is the hard part.

Joe,

If I could play like you! I wouldn't be concerned about imitating anybody. You have very impressive control over your tone and technique. Thanks for posting. Let's hear more!

Joe, All those clips were just out of the park. Great songs, great players and your steel work was out of sight. It must be the crawfish that creates such a nest of great steelers out of Acadiana. Joe, Richard, Murnel, Danny, etc. You guys need to spread out a little.
Keep them coming, Billy
