I'd design one myself, with all the improved features that I have in my head, and then find a competent pedal steel builder with time on his hands and full machine shop facilities to build it for me. I wouldn't go to one of the more well-known builders with two year waiting lists. Life's too short for that. ;-)

If money were no object, you could afford to be bumped to the top of the list... ;-)

Money was a bit of a problem, but I bought a Mullen G2 anyway, and have no regrets, A great guitar.

Fulawka...neat look and a vintage sound! Money really isn't a problem, it's just hard to justify having 7 pedal steels. :\

I bought an Infinity this year, after several years of fence-sitting. I have not tried all of the available guitars today, but it was love at first pick for me with the Infinity. But it did take three or four years until I pulled the trigger, due to already owning the best Emmons PP ever.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

Lee...
Infinity guitars are made by Frank Carter in Yuma, AZ. Buck Reid, Herb Steiner, myself, and many others are on the Infinity team. They are great guitars with an innovative changer. Come to the SWSGA show in Phoenix in January and give it a test drive.

After having played everything under the sun for the past several years, I bought a Mullen G2. Then I bought a second G2 . I can't imagine anything better.

I already have my best guitar, my Jackson Blackjack Custom. If there was any other steel that I'd love to play, it'd be either a Mullen G2 or maybe a Zumsteel, a Sho-Bud Super Pro, Emmons Lashley Legrande, or maybe another Jackson, but I can't make "Black Diamond" jealous! LOL!
