Thanks all, the book will be 16 songs. 3 tunings used in the book: C6, A6, B11, all three tunings available on the same set of strings.

Any ETA on the new book Doug? I have your previous ones, and always enjoy your choice of tunes.

Thanks, David. I'm thinking February for the new book/CD. It takes me about a year to do one of these.

Cool....I'm sure there will be a long line for this one. Can you give us an idea of what else is going to be in the book or is it to be a surprise until the release?

Very nice! I like the low register vocal like line you get with this tuning! I guess its a top E A6 tuning?

Thanks, yes this A6 tuning is:

E
C#
A
F#
E
C#

It's an easy re-tune from C6. The 5th tone on top (5, 3, root on top) offers some harmonies that would otherwise require reverse slanting or a lot of bar movement on C6 (with E on top). As always, certain songs lay out easier on certain tunings.

Oh, that's easy to get this tuning from the C6, looking forward to make an order the book.

You are a master!
You get my H.O.F. vote.

True to the genre, and you play like it is not 'all about you', but 'all about the music'.
