Interesting device, hammer Jammer
Since I started playing steel many years ago, I have imagined a device like this. Anyone else? Well someone has done it for acoustic and electric guitars. Why not? I think it would be a cool effect. Comments?

They had a Kickstarter in June/July to get funding for production. They got 14k of the 50k goal. No idea of the status of the company today, I didn't search any moreBill Bassett wrote:Since I started playing steel many years ago, I have imagined a device like this. Anyone else? OK, after posting on this, I decided to Google the device I mentioned...Nothing - It must be a very rare piece of equipment. Or, I don't remember how to spell it. I remember it was named partly for the keys and partly for guitar. Looking up KeyTar or keytar, all it shows is the synth instrument. That is not what I was referring to. I used all the keywords I could think of, and got nothing. Wish I still had it! I bought it at Bob Wood's Del City Music in the late 60's, a few years before I started playing Pedal Steel. Anyone else ever see it???
