Hey,

Besides all the great pickin and a grinnin,
The HSGA will be raffling off a 60" LG Plasma TV and a Blu Ray Disc player this year too so don't miss out.

Jerry has a standing invitation and is a big part of the HSGA and the show just would not be the same without him.

The spots are filling up quick so let me know if you wanna pick.

The lineup looks great and is gonna be some real Steel Guitar Ear Candy for sure.

We are at a great location this year. Byron and Kevin Jones are opening up the Northtown Opry. Great sound, great stage, right size, snack bar, good seating. It will be a fun day.

Sadly I may have to cancel. I was supposed to leave for KC today but that has been delayed.

I have a congestion problem in my right ear. It has fluid and isn't draining (or draining very slow). I went to the doctor today and was told it has to clear up on its own and that can take up to 30 days. I can't hear anything except a loud ringing in the ear right now.

I'm going to wait until Friday and make a decision then based on how I feel and have progressed with the ear. But, as it stands now I'm not in any condition to drive that far.

Reluctantly, I have officially cancelled out of the show. I can't make the trip right now with my condition. I have a Monday appointment with an ENT specialist.

I've sent a message to Bobby and Ray about the cancellation.

Hey folks,

We are full speed ahead for the 2014 HSGA Show and JAM. We are getting radio play and it looks to be a great turnout.

WE HAVE SEVERAL GREAT STEELERS ON THE LINEUP AND ARE INVITING LOCAL ENTERTAINERS AND MUSICIANS TO PLAY and Jam WITH THE STEEL GUITARISTS on this show.

This is going to be a lot of fun this year and a lot of Steel Guitar Ear Candy and fellowship to be had.

Don't miss this one.

This year's Heartland Show will be at the Northtown Opry which is a great venue with good sound, nice stage, snack bar, etc.

The show is getting closer and Byron will have Brisket available for lunch so UMMMMMMMMMMM!

I'm so looking forward to this years event and we have a lot of area musicians and vocalists coming out this year too.

Pick your own backup band.
