YouTube ads

Post by Richard Sinkler »

Is anyone else having this problem. When I pull up a video, an ad pops up directly to the right of the video and plays. It is usually an Xfinity or Verizon ad. There is no way that I have found to stop it. when you hover over it, you don't even get a bar that has controls like volume, etc. So what you have is, the video audio playing as well as the audio from the ad.

Found a program installed called showpass that I don't remember installing. So, I uninstalled it. Haven't been on youtube much to check it out. Still running a Malwarebytes scan.
