help...save set list (song favorites)

Please help. I must be doing something wrong. I'm trying to make a set list using favorite songs. Here's what I do. I cannot see (blind), so please keep that in mind. Here is what I do:

I hit shift key and F3. That pulls up what is called favorite song list, which is the last , however many, songs I've played in biab
. There is a button that says "save set list". i tab down and hit space bar, which pulls up something for me to name the set list, and save the list. I hit OK. The box goes away, and I'm back at the favs list.
I tab to "load set list". When it opens I type in the name I gave my new fav set list. It may, or may not, pull up the list I saved.
Moving on, I finish for the day, close biab, and the next day when I come back, I try to pull up my saved set list. Biab gives me an error telling me it cannot find it, or it doesn't exist.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

In case anyone is wondering, how, if I'm blind, I'm doing this, I have a screen reading software for my computer.
