Dallas Seminar March 2014 (UPDATE)

Post by Buck Reid »

Thank you for your interest in attending my seminar in Dallas (March-2014)! My plan is to explain my approach to a few tunes from my "A Work In Progress" CD and will be open to general questions also. I will have CD's, Rhythm Track CD's and Tab booklets available for purchase... all of which we'll be working from. Audio recorders are welcome but no video recorders please.

Also... here is a link to the TSGA website for additional info: http://www.texassteelguitar.org/jam.html

To register please send your contact info along check or money order in the amount of $70 to address below. I will confirm your registration via email when payment is received.

Looking forward to seeing everyone... thanks again !

Buck

UPDATE: I spoke with Albert Talley, President of the TSGA today and have some new info for the Dallas seminar in March 2014.

Due to limited space we will not have room for guitars or amps. I will have binder booklets with the tabbed material we will be covering. I do encourage everyone to bring their own note pads and an audio recorder for reference later. The seating capacity is 75 and I have had a few folks register in advance. Thanks to all for your interest and support and I look forward to seeing you in March.

Hey Buck!

Why not video tape it sell it down the road? It would be a great supplement for the attendees and priceless for us that can't make it!

Hi Bob! Thanks for the suggestion... I have given it some thought. For me personally, I think preparing for the seminar and two shows that weekend is about as much as I can bite off. I do plan to do some kind of instructional video at some point and would rather do it in a more controlled and less hectic environment. Again... thanks for the input and hope all is well with you!

Also... I would encourage folks who are interested to register early as many have and we only have 75 seats.

Thanks again to all for their interest and support!

Thank you to those who have already registered! I'm hearing that there are questions about covering material on both the E9th & C6th tunings. I will be discussing some of my approach using tunes from my "A Work In Progress" cd, using both tunings. I also plan to have time for some miscellaneous questions in the hope that it will be helpful. There are still seats available and hope to see many smiling faces there. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Thanks, Buck Ken and Craig Bakerof Lil Izzy fame who also sent me this site address. Unfortunately I can not get into some sites from here in China. Fortunately in about three weeks I will be outside China for a few weeks and should be able to access it though. Thanks, all, steve
