Read the fine print gentlemen:

The Guitar Comes in the original hard case as pictured with metal bar and tuning fork.

The tuning fork would explain the price tag.

Yes, but that's a little different... the actual value of that 1924 Gibson Loar mandolin is $140,000 according to the current VGM price guide. So the seller's price is less than double the book value (about 1.6 of book value). But the Fry Pan is priced at about 12 times market value.

I may even consider getting it now that the price is somewhat reasonable.(NOT!)

Mine has "B 174" stamped on and has the octagonal volume knob. I put mine at a 33. Wonder how the serial numbers ran on them. His is 1138 and looks to be identical vintage. Not selling, unless he actually get 35K for it!

Cracker Barrel has great deals on Frying pans. For a lot less, have one of a kind machined out of a billet or maybe 3D printed.
