IE 10 pages loading slow

I'm having intermittent page loading problems in IE10. For example, I'll open a tab, and get the "moving circle" (very slow - page doesn't load - stuck). I'll immediately open another tab, and it will go instantly to my home page, while the other tab is still in stuck mode, with the "moving circle."

It also does this when clicking on links or opening favorites. Sometimes it will open instantly, other times, it's stuck and the page won't load, or it will take forever to load the page.

It's been happening constantly for the past few weeks. Prior to that, I'd get the 'once in a blue moon' delay for a page to load. But something is definitely wrong here.

I've run CC Cleaner, MalWare Bytes, Anti-Virus programs, and cleared temp internet files, but still no luck.

Any idea on what's causing IE to get stuck when loading every other page?

PS. I've tried Chrome and Firefox a while back, and overall prefer IE, so would rather not use another browsers.

I tried I.E.10 and didn't like it as I had too many compatibility problems with sites. I went back to I.E.9.

According to posts on other computer forums, many with Windows 7 are either experiencing problems with I.E.10 or have went back to I.E.9.
