This coming Patch Tuesday, May 14, 2013, will see Microsoft patching the critical Internet Exploder 8 flaw that is being exploited in the wild, plus 9 other critical or import vulnerabilities.
Don't neglect these updates, especially the one for IE 8.0! It allows for a silent drive-by exploit and take-over, with no notification to the user. Windows XP users are most impacted by this vulnerability.
Caveat: If you have taken my advice and are operating as a limited user, you will be less likely to be exploited without any warning. Also,if you have removed all instances of Java, you are immune to this particular attack kit.
