Printer font size

Are font sizes controlled by the computer, the printer or both, at home, windows 7, Firefox, hp printer the font size is very small, where I work the set up is the same except a different model printer, font size much larger even printing the same document. Ant help much appreciated.

It's controlled by the Firefox Page Setup command in the File menu. Pay special attention to the "Shrink to fit page width" checkbox.

I have that problem with I.E.9 in Win 7 and I.E.10 in Win 8 with some pages.

What I do, instead of going directly to Print, I go to "Print Preview" and then set the size in Print Preview then print. It comes out "legible".
