You Tube sound has disappeared!

Post by Roger Rettig »

I was thoroughly enjoying watching the Paul Franklin interview and idly cleaning my mouse while listening and watching - I must have hit something inadvertently because the video 'paused' and, when I restarted it, there was no sound!~!!

I have sound in other applications - just none when watching YouTube. It was fine earlier today.

What could I have done???

Darn. I was afraid this would happen :whoa: Now you've clicked the wrong thing and ruined YouTube for all of us. No more sound for all those steel videos.....

You pulled the volume slider on the Flash video box all the way to the left. Mouse over the speaker icon on the YouTube video frame and pull the volume back up.

Thanks, Wiz: that's exactly what I did!

While wiping coffee stains off the mouse I must have simultaneously clicked on the icon AND dragged the volume down!!! I bet I couldn't do that again if I tried!
