Need Better Sounds
BIAB guru's I'd appreciate some help. I have version 2009. Is it possible to get the standard sounds more realistic with a better external or internal sound device? I have read some about the Ketron SD2. Or is the new version a good fix for this or would it sound the same on my current setup? Hope this makes sense. I have some of the real tracks and they sound great but I can't afford to buy them all. Thanks in advance.

If you have an external keyboard such as a roland or yamaha psr etc, you can get great sounds thru the sound engine on that as well. GM works great, and patches are available for most popular keyboards or sound modules. The ketron sd2 is a popular external device. I like a good display, and the SD2 does not have one from what I hear.

I might be a beginner now, but someday I'm gonna steel the show.

All BIAB produces are MIDI signals.
The quality of the playback is dependent on the quality of your playback equipment. When I use tracks for playing, the signal goes through an Edirol tone generator that supposrts both GM and GM plus. There are a total of over 1,000 different instruments to draw from in that unit.
