Texas Jamboree - Telonics Room = YOU Are Invited !! Updated

Post by Ron Whitworth »

Hello;
I wanted to take a minute & invite everyone going to the TSGA 2013 Jamboree to stop in the Telonic's room
( you know the man cave place ). You are welcome to test drive any of the products in there & ask questions.

Dave Beaty, his son Stacy, his daughters Sophie, Amber & co worker Brenda & myself will all be there to assist all of you in any way we can.
Even if you do not buy anything stop in to say
"Hello" to all of us. We enjoy talking about all of the great Telonic's products anytime you want.

Also, we have a couple of surprises this year that
you do not want to miss!

Stop by anytime & all of us representing Telonic's
family always look forward to seeing all of you. We always meet & make more new friends every time at the Dallas Jamboree.

Will you be there this year?

Thank You ... Ron

Hello to everyone & Thanks for the comments & bumping this thread up..

To answer a question & some comments :
Bob - YES we will have some of the new Telonics combo amps at the Dallas show..

In Dave's own words:
" Because of the economy, many of our suppliers are slow to deliver, however we plan to grab the first few of the new Telonics Combo Amplifiers off the line in time to put them on our truck to Texas. "
So we will have a few there for all of you to try out & test drive so to speak..

Stay tuned - more to come later.
Thanks for reading ...Ron

************ Another Update **************
Dave being the engineer he is & one who LOVES the JBL speakers has been quietly working on his own JBL's for a while now so his Telonics company can now sell you a completely rebuilt JBL speaker..
Here is some info from Dave concerning the rebuilt JBL's from Telonics..
ALSO - the deadline to get some ordered from Telonics & put on the truck going to Dallas is
late Feb 28th..The truck will be loading & we can bring them to Dallas for you.

" We have a few of the Telonics totally rebuilt JBL K120-4 (12 inch) and JBL K130-4 (15 inch) premium speakers (with, or without enclosures).
As you know, these are heavy speakers and therefore costly to ship. So if you let us know you want one or more before we send out shipment to Dallas,
you can save $25-$30 (each) shipping cost. These speakers are inspected, totally disassembled (including the magnet assembly),
cleaned impeccably, completely rebuilt as new, re-gaussed and tested electrically and mechanically by our engineers. Like other Telonics products, they are completely guaranteed.
These speakers have that "zing" that, quite literally, NO other speakers available today have. They are simply the very best and we treat them with great care and respect accordingly."

Get in touch with Dave or someone at the company
or you can email me & I will put you in touch with Dave - how ever you prefer but don't wait IF you have been wanting a heavy duty speaker that has the sounds like no other speaker has ( IMHO )
This is a great way to save on the shipping costs.

Thank You for reading - more to come later ..

********* Some more UPDATES in from Dave >>

Telonics will be supplying amps, speakers/enclosures and some instruments for the non-pedal show,
as well as supplying everything except the steel guitars for the great players who will be jamming in the Telonics room.

Last year we had Mark Dunn and John Stannard doing some incredible playing in our room, this year Mark and John will be joined by the great David Hartley.

You already know how incredible these three unique musicians sound from last year and YouTube!

In addition, we will have at least two sessions of the fantastic Cajun Connection playing in our room - Joe Rogers, Pa Pa Murnel Babineaux and Richard Comeaux.
They always come up with exciting and inventive styles and incredible harmony on their Rittenberry guitars.

We also expect to enjoy some wonderful playing by Paddy Long, Tommy Dodd, Dan Tyack and some other great players as they find time between other sets.

Stacy will be available to check, service and if applicable, update your Telonics pedals.

More to come later > stay tuned !!
Thanks for reading ........ Ron

************ Another update here from Dave *********
Telonics Pickups

" The Telonics pickups are flying out the door as fast as we can make them.
We are doing our best to build ahead in order to have some on-hand in Texas.

We now manufacture fifteen (15) models/Types.
They are available with both wide and narrow mounts.

We can supply a pickup to bring just about any steel guitar "to life".
Stop by and see us, tell us what steel you are playing, what style of music you prefer and who plays/produces the sound you want to achieve,
and we'll work out the proper pickup for you to try."

More great products, info & service from the Telonics
company.
All of you folks that know Dave all know that he is NEVER satisfied until the customer is satisfied -
customer service the old fashioned way !
You can't beat that any way you go.

Stay tuned - more later ..

Josh Gibson,
We stopped by Goble today to hear some of that sweet sounding Pedal Steel music. They said you were in Dallas. We were disapointed. I played a few tunes and finally wized up. I was getting the work as a solo act and the house band was getting the money for sitting and drinking beer. LOL
Will be looking for you folks again soon! Enjoy Texas !
