standel on craigslist
There's a nice looking standel on the Huntington,WV craigslist. I don't know them well enough to know what they go for. I'm intrigued.

This is a Standel Artist. Looks identical to my 1969 Artist except mine is 2x12 and does not have the extension cabinet. The amp is all transistor and the tone on this model is wonderful for steel and pretty good for guitar. To hear it you would swear it was a tube amp. The reverb and trem are just so so. The speakers, with the aluminum dust cap with the black dot, are probably Standel branded CTS speakers. Pretty good speakers, but nothing really special. The cabinets are thick particle board and are extremely heavy. 130 watts is the draw, not the output. The output is around 75 - 80 watts, but these are extremely loud amps - with the extension speaker this one would be arena loud. I paid $150 for mine on Craigslist. I would value this rig at no more than $500.
