Help Me Choose the Right Color!

Post by Tommy Dodd »

I try to begin each year with a new product to offer at the steel shows that I attend. Normally, it’s a new CD but due to my back issues (Spinal Stenosis) earlier in the year I was unable to make time to record a new project. So, I have decided to re-issue my most popular T-shirt design called “Every Band”. In the past this shirt was available in Black or Metro Blue. Here's what the design looks like on a black shirt.
Image

This year I am going to offer it in a different color based on popular demand. Below you will see a group of shirt colors that represent the choices from the Gildan shirt company. These are heavy, 100% cotton Tees and have been my standard offering because of their outstanding durability, colorfastness, and minimum-shrinkage capabilities. Please vote your favorite color and help me produce a shirt that will look good……..and sell! Thanks for your participation.

Definitely grey IMO...

I did not see the actual poll at the top, then I made myself laugh after realizing a blind guy voting on a color choice...

Sorry, if I don't find the humor in my own issues, I would go nuts!

Been at this damn thing for a few years now. Not so sure that I'm getting anywhere but it is fun. Sometimes.

Although I really like the brown and the gray, I noticed that the green really caught my eye first each time I glanced at the tee photos. With the "Every Band" theme and the way the green caught my eye first, I voted for the Jade Green. :)

Of the 3, I chose gray, but I'd really like one in Navy Blue.

I like the Gray and Jade Green, especially if you can get 3XLT and will take a couple of which ever color you decide and if you go with more than one color I'll take a couple of each.

Hope that Back is coming along well...Todd

I would also purchase a couple in the 3XLT if they were available. I usually get away with 3x but the longer are much nicer!

I'd also like to see a shirt with just a picture of a steel, and the words "Got Steel?"

T Shirt Color Choices

Post by Roger Dillingham »

Tommy, I like the black, but my choice of the remaining three would definitely be the Jade Green. I agree wholeheartedly with Jim Lindsey's assessment! I'd like one of each!

I just wanted to address a couple of things. I am not going to discontinue having the Black shirts with this design. It will be available on my website as well as most of my other shirt designs. You can see them all on this page at my website.

However, when I travel to a steel show I normally promote a new design and have only a limited number of the "older" styles and colors with me for sale. And, being a fairly large person myself, I usually do have a supply of 2X, 3X, and even 4x shirts for the folks with a "big personality". As far as the Tall sizes, I have checked with my suppliers and they are not available in all colors. I could provide the 3XLT shirts in Black as a special but I would need to know in advance of a committed buyer before I place orders for shirts. Please feel free to contact me by email to discuss this possibility.

BTW, the Charcoal Grey is leading in the poll.......
